Oh dear, we leave in 3 days. All the details have been taken care of; euros bought, cat sitter arranged, passports and copies of passports, rental car and credit card companies called. All that is left is the packing~ a month's worth clothing and essentials to be stuffed into 2 bags. Right now everything is folded in neat orderly piles on every living room chair. Now to get it all to fit and hopefully weigh less than 50lbs.
We are flying directly to Paris~ a new route from Orlando.
It is supposed to be raining the day we arrive...and cool. That's OK.
We will follow our routine of going to the neighborhood grocery and getting our supply of Coke, cheese, fruit, confiture framboise (raspberry jam) and brioche bread (for French toast). Then, to the boulangerie for bread and pain au chocolate.
For dinner, I've already decided we are going to La Perla for the fabulous pizza with prosciutto.
I think I am ready for Paris.
